Eggy (たまごさん Tamago-san) is a Rare Cat exclusive to Neko Atsume 2.

They were added in Patch Ver. 1.16.0.

Trivia

• Eggy may appear in yards visited when going out, and can appear in your own yard afterwards like all other cats obtained from going out.
• Eggy is the second cat that visits seasonally, and is only exclusive to the spring season; the first being Purrin.
  • They can only visit from March to June each year.
• They are the first cat obtained through going out that can use a goody in the yard, being the Bunny Bed DX if it is placed in the yard before their visit.
  • However, they will not leave any gifts for their visit, similar to all other going out cats.
• Previously, Eggy had the name Sunny, which was changed due to having the same name as another cat, Sunny, prior to update 1.17.0. They had no relation, and the original name was possibly a localization error.
• This cat seems to be inspired by the Easter holiday and traditions around Easter Eggs as when they visit, they sometimes sit inside a decorated Easter egg shell. This is also shown in their memento.
