The Dog (name unknown) is a character that appears in the background of Neko Atsume 2. The Dog only appears in the Original Style Version 1 and 2 of the Yard and not for any Goodies. The Dog is not featured in the Catbook and does not give any Fish upon leaving.

- The Dog can show up at two different spots for each applicable Yard.
- The Dog resembles a Shiba Inu, which is a hunting dog breed originating from Japan.
